Rescues
We do small scale, all breed, independent rescue as and when we have the
facilities. We currently have 6 rescues that are in need of loving homes.
Jenny
Pictures coming soon...
Jenny is an 11 year old Schipperke mix. She is considerably bigger than a
full blooded Schipperke but is still only a small - medium size dog. She is very
gentle and loving, house broken and crate trained and walks beautifully on a
leash. Due to her Schipperke heritage we are not confident in having her
off-leash so we would like to see Jenny go to a home with a securely fenced
yard. Jenny is spayed.
Lucy 
We are not sure of Lucy's background, possibly Shepherd, maybe Husky - your
guess is as good as ours! She is a medium sized dog and, like Jenny, is
exceptionally gentle and loving. She is house broken, crate trained and great on
a leash. Lucy was found abandoned standing in the middle of the road as though
she was wanting to get run over. She was dirty, emaciated and in terrible
condition. Unfortunately we also discovered that she was pregnant - she was so
thin we could not tell until about a week before they were due! Slowly she has
recovered to good health, filling out nicely with a medium length, soft, glossy
coat. She has not yet been spayed but we would expect her to be spayed upon
placement.
Rosie and Duchess 
Rosie (on the left) and Duchess are two of Lucy's girl puppies. They are 1
year old and so still very playful. They are smaller than Lucy, in the 25 - 35
lb range. They were raised in our home for the first 9 months of their life so
have a great start on house breaking. They also have been exposed to leash
walking and have fairly good recall. Like their mom they have great
temperaments, are very sweet and love to be loved on, if they can stay still for
long enough! Both the girls have short, easy care coats.
Coffee and Fetch 
Coffee (on the left) and Fetch are also two of Lucy's puppies, both of them
boys. They are 1 year old, like their sisters, but the boys are more laid back
although still playful. They are about Lucy's size, in the region of 40 - 50
lbs, with Fetch a little larger than Coffee. The boys coats are medium length
like their mom's and they both have Lucy's gentle disposition - these guys eat
up fuss like there is no tomorrow. Like the girls they were raised in the home
and should adjust quickly to life in your home.
